Ghostwriting in exams and research - it occurs, everywhere, also in our university. It is difficult to detect, difficult to prove. But how "big" is the problem? What could be done to prevent ghostwriting in our university? The interactive presentation by Teddi Fishman offers some insights from an international perspective as well as the chance to discuss about this topic with experts and colleagues.

Teddi Fishmann, PhD, works as an Academic Integrity Consultant. She is the former longtime director of the International Center for Academic Integrity. ICAI members are among others most of the well reputed universites in the USA, which cooperate in combat cheating, plagiarism, and academic dishonesty in higher education. She has an outstanding international expertise in designing, promoting and implementing activities fostering good scientific practice. She is a cooperating partner of the project for plagiarism prevention "Refairence" and the "European Network of Academic Integrity (ENAI)" at the Communication, Information, Media Centre (KIM) at the University of Konstanz.
